Morning all!

Hermine, I believe Won is counting posts from non-regulars…though it’s kind of a moot point now since very few of our old regulars even post here any more. Glad your tooth fix was a fairly easy one; I hope you are indeed pain-free today…though this could be an excellent excuse to eat ice cream for breakfast! ;)

Back at work, so once again I’ll be lurking…

Bookworm Jen, lol at the ice cream for breakfast comment. I opted for my usual oatmeal this morning instead. THe kids would have had a fit if I ate ice cream for breakfast and they couldn’t have any.

I also managed to register DSon for music school starting next fall. The person teaching his class also does a class tailored to kids with handicaps, so if DSon disrupts the class I can be sure the teacher will be patient with him. Still don’t know how much the program costs though, .

So am I a regular, or am I going to raise Won Two’s non-regular post count to a new level?

Hermine, as a kid, I had a lot of teeth pulled by the dentist in preparation for braces. The highlight was always getting to have dessert-like foods for meals – ice cream, pudding, cheesecake, pie. :)

Will the music school be your son’s regular school, or is it a program he’s participating in in addition to an academic school? Either way, I hope it works out for him and that the cost is manageable.

You count as a regular, at least in my book! ;) The non-regulars are mainly the random posters who pop in to answer the poll question (and/or berate us for being off-topic) and never return again.

Hi Deanie! Enjoy your lunch!

Bookworm Jen, the music school is strictly extra-ciricular (sp?). There aren’t really school music programs or sports in schools over here. Instead there are sports clubs and separate music schools to join. The music school does everything from “Kindermusik” to orchestra. DSon probably has two years before he starts first grade.

I hate it when it starts raining before I have a chance to get the clothes off the line and the clothesline taken down. Next activity is to walk with DD through the rain to collect DSon from his activity. At least we will have raincoats and can bring him one.

Stay dry, everyone, and enjoy your lunch, Deanie.

Unfortunately, more and more schools around here are also cutting music and sports programs. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being like what you’re describing, where you have to participate in that stuff outside of school. I suppose it’s just good that there’s still a way to participate at all, but I think the costs will prevent a lot of kids from being able to take part. I really hope it will work out well for your son!

We weren’t forecast to have rain today, but there are some pretty ominous looking clouds out there right now.

Hi Mistic! We did end up having a brief shower, but it blew over quickly and we’re back to blue skies and sun. :)

Hello Mystic. Aside from an unexpected rain shower, it has been a good day. DD’s walking bike is assembled, now I just need to decide whether to try to inflate the tires with a ball pump or if I will be able to walk it to the gas station without her getting very angry that she can’t ride it yet.

Good Morning Everybody!!! A Happy Wednesday to ALL!!!! Well we are going to have showers here today Off and On all day long!!! I wish I could say that this is delightful!!!! but I am not feeling that way about it at this time!!! Yes there are some places that need rain, and then there are some places that get nothing but RAIN, and If we could have two weeks of nice sunny weather then I would not be complaining at ALL!!!! However it is too early for me to get riled up about it at the present, I will wait until much later on in the day to SCREAM!!! STOP RAINING!!! lol I AM WISHING EVERYBODY TO HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!!!! somewhere in this WORLD IT IS NOT RAINING!!!! !! I just know it!!! lol

Morning all!

Asti, sorry I missed you yesterday…although I’m looking at the time stamps and wondering if they were off because I’m pretty sure I left work right at 4, and I feel like I posted that last message a while before I left!

Mistic, I’m going to be down your way in a couple of weeks for the American Library Association conference – I hope I’ll be lucky enough to have nice weather while I’m there, so all the rain needs to get over with now! ;)

I’m off today, so I probably won’t be around here much. I’m not sure yet what I’m doing for the day. It was supposed to be beautiful, so I wanted to do something outdoorsy, but right now it’s looking a bit iffy, so we’ll see. Have a great day everyone!

Yup, the time stamp is about 15 minutes ahead of the real time; it’s actually 9:37am right now.

Jen, yes, I realised the time was still wrong (!!) Are you enjoying your day off?

Hi, Mistic. It rained on me this morning, but since then it’s been a nice day here. I hope you and Jen both get to enjoy some sun!

Finny, will you be able to visit it soon?

Mistic, sorry for spelling your name incorrectly.

Hello, asti, it is nice to meet you again.

I hope you are having fun, Jen.

I have the curtains for the kids’ room ironed and pinned, but sewing on the tape for the hooks will have to wait for another day. DSon tried to pull them off of the curtain rod, so I have to redo them. It is echoy in their room right now.

Good night.

Morning all!

I managed to have a pretty good day yesterday despite the weather. We still headed out to Newport (RI) as planned and were able to walk around for a while before the rain hit. It began sprinkling just as we were on our way into a restaurant for lunch. We got lucky because it had stopped when we came out, and we made it back to the car and back home before it started in earnest. We had planned to take my nephews fishing at night, so that was cancelled, but we went to Borders instead (an acceptable alternative in my opinion, LOL). I was (mostly) good – I only got 5 books, but with the 25% off coupon, it was a good deal. :)

Now I’m back at work and back to lurking for the day! :)

Won, do you do anything besides count? I haven’t heard what you are up to lately.

Today is Friday, house cleaning while letting a toddler “help” day. The nice weather should hold out through today.

Good Morning Everybody!!!! IT’S FRIDAY!!!! IT’S FRIDAY!!!! Hermine!!!! Did you know how I chose my name!!! WEll I loved the Whomping Willow!!! but I thought that sounded a little like a guy’s name, so I decided on Mistic Willow, Did you see the remake movie of The Tin Man, based on the Wizard of Oz, there was a Mistic Man in it!!! I just loved Mistical things and beings!!! You had me a bit confused at first, I thought isn’t her name Hermione!!!! why is she calling herself Hermine? then I realized that you are two different people!!! But just so you know, I don’t mind at all if anyone misspells my name!!! lol

Morning all!

Back at work…wish I had something more exciting to report, but that’s about it. ;)

Mistic, I’ll be in D.C. from Fri 6/25 – Tues 6/29. I haven’t planned out my full itinerary yet, but I may have some time on Sat, Sun, or Mon. I’ll owl you next week, once I’ve taken a closer look at all of the finalized conference programming. I’d love to meet up if we can work it out! :)

I won’t be able to go for a few years but I am so excited to see everything! I’ve had such a passion and love for all things Harry Potter for years and it will be amazing to see a real life “world” of Harry Potter

Hermine, I don’t hang out here anymore… We all moved to a ‘private’ site when Leaky went offline for a while… Some of us liked it there so much we decided to stay… I stop by here once a day when I can just for old times sake…
