Good morning Leaky friends. I am headed out this afternoon to get a haircut. I haven’t had my hair cut in over four years. I started growing it as a rebellion kind of thing, but I am over that now, and need to do something more practical. I found a good stylist (I hope) who can help me with it, but I am kind of nervous. My older daughter is thrilled, Asteria not so much. I am taking votes until 4 Leaky time. Really short, medium length or keep it longer. I NEED HELP!

Typical male! Most men like long hair on women. ;)

Whatever length you choose, I vote for super easy to care for. I do not know many women with jobs who have 2 hours to spend on their hair everyday. My own is super short, but I recognise that many women like their hqair longer than I like mine. ;)

One of my female coworkers had her head shaved a few years ago. Now she wears it short, but not as short as mine. ;)

Whatever you choose, I know it will be right for you, for now. Especially if this stylist is really good. ;)

In the past 20 years I have had my hair every length between where it is now and down to my shoulder blades. And naturally straight to Orphan Annie curly. And my natural mousy brown to auburn red. I have never been blond. ;)

I generally like about shoulder length hair, if not a bit shorter… I’ve seen some girl with shorter hair than that, and it’s pretty cute if done right.

either way – your the one who has to wear it Rhia so whatever make you happy’ If you do it shorter and don’t like it – it can always grow back.

Right now, Sally has very short "helmet hair" I call it… I have a shoulder length pony tail!

I have spent the last hour typing up some work stuff for my DS. He’s finally noticed that living on Leaky has improved my typing skills to a level way above his own. Plus, I can spell. Usually.

My DS used to "prefer" long hair until I practically beat him up for rolling over on mine in his sleep. Now he i all in favor of whatever makes me happy and keeps him bruise free. ;)

Listening to the 1984 concert in Montreal

Just a quick post because I am out of here for the evening.

I have been working overtime again. (Report Card Time) Also one of the ladies in the office is out and it seems to make a huge difference in the work load.

We also had a huge locker search in the entire school. We were looking for a student that had reportedly brought and illegal substance to school. They had what we call "stay in place" warning. That means that students could not leave the room that they were sitting in even if the bell rang to change classes. Security and administrators went from room to room looking for subtances. Sigh!

It was NOT a good day. Quite a few students were suspended and a few more were arrested.

While all this was going on, one of the adminstrators was dealing with a few boys that also had to be suspended for playing a game they invented called…."Slap Friday". They would walk along the hallway and slap girls in their butts. LOLOLOL!!!

We had a good laugh in the hallway but I am sure the mothers were not laughing when these students were place in in-school-suspensions. LOLOL!! You just have to see the humor in this….

So much for me being free to play and lurk today. I did stay home but had so much to try to get done I forgot I hadn’t got on. Lol I did have Leaky open all day though.

Won So glad you are back.

When I was in my teens, my hair was mostly short. In my 20’s and 30’s, it was long. Started going back to short in my 40’s and now I wear it short. I like it chin length. Short enough in the back that it doesn’t get wet on my quickey shower days. That’s how I know I’m in desperate need of a hair cut when it starts getting wet.

Did anyone watch V last night? I was so tired I just recorded it and haven’t had a chance to watch it.

Hi Cool G it’s good to be back! I watched the new episode of NCIS instead… I will watch V on HULU this Saturday…

FIRST – Welcome back WON. I was very worriedd about you all weekend!

I meant to explain that these boys were suspended today for what happened on Friday. No one knew that this happened on Friday until one of the mother’s of the girls that was being slapped in the butt called the office to complain. Once they got a hold of the videos on the camaras they were able to pinpoint what students were playing "Slap Friday."

The video also showed one girl slapping one of the boys straight across the face. All the boys were suspended, including the girl that slapped the boy. She got suspended too. :(

Boy did that mother let the principal have it. :( But the principal had a point, no aggression is tolerated. Even if it was in self defense. She should have let a teacher know that this was happening. The little girl got one day suspension in-school, while the boys all got three days.

Thanks MM I am not done with the doctors… The tumor is benign thank God, but it will still have to be removed… I will schedule the surgery on my next visit to the local hospital. Your principal was fortunate to not have to deal with parents like mine… There would have been a story on the nightly news!!!
