I tried Control F5 and now I can see my avatar.

We are off to the YMCA. Our hot water heater has died and the repair place won’t even be calling until Monday. Thank goodness we have a membership to a place with a shower.

Oh no, Lady Hawke! You’re not having much luck with repairs lately. I’m glad you have somewhere to go, though.

Lady Hawke, we are twinned in bad luck with household appliances. We both had our washing machines refuse to spin at the same time, and our boiler died too, a couple of months ago!

I hope it is fixed soon, and the repairs are not too expensive!

I’m going to take my nap so I can stay up tonight.

Avatar check. Wow, Asti! LOL MM has definitely influenced you, my girl! And Won looks quite dashing. LadyHawke looks like exactly what she is, a beautiful and classy lady. :) I went for cute, it was either this or a real basset hound in blue py’s, he was SO cute, but since I am a cat person first and a dog person second…. Plus I figured you guys associated me more with cats (like my kitty in a crown avatar, LOL) that this one would be easier to identify as mine. It always takes awhile after everyone changes for me to remember who is who!

Have to get some things done around here so I don’t know that I will make Princess Bride, but I will try my hardest to be here for Dirty Dancing, have fun and I will see you soon! XOXOXOXOX

BTW I have LOADS of cheddar cheese popcorn and all the soda we could hope for on hand, I will leave it in the library now so you guys can help yourselves before I get back. :)

Okay, How do I switch my avatar? I just uploaded a new one to Gravatar and thought I made it the main one for now, but it’s not showing up. Is there a waiting period or something after uploading a new image?

It does sometimes take a little while to show, Miss Hagrid…and usually you can’t see the new ones unless you hit Ctrl + F5 (it’s something else on a Mac, I don’t remember what). Also, sometimes going back to Gravatar and re-confirming the avatar helps it to show up faster.

I’m just going to keep this one, since there’s not enough time to search through a bunch of images to look for a new one.
