Leaky is aptly named… It is a sinking ship! Look at this place. It is like a wasteland! It used to be the most vibrant spot on the whole site… Methinks the senior most staff have seriously miscalculated. It does not do to lose your core… The fringes are sooo very fickle… Sorry Melissa, you messed up bigtime I think… JMHO…

Well, I finally got a semi decent nights sleep. I have been unable to stay asleep for more than one hour without waking up all week. Last night I actually managed to sleep a full 3.5 hours without waking up.

I do hope that whatever it was has stopped affecting me and I can begin to actually get rested. ;)

Hello all…just wanted to say that I would be very happy to return to posting here. The only reason I stopped was that everyone seemed to prefer the new site. I haven’t been going there much over the last week or so because I’m still having the slow page loading and it’s really frustrating. It’s better when I turn off the smileys, but then it gives me a headache trying to read the posts because of all the :codes: thrown in the middle of sentences. But I still come to Leaky’s main page every day, so I’d be very excited if we returned here.

Also, I wouldn’t expect the people at Leaky to be concerned over whether we’re here or not…one of the things we always liked about being here in this corner was the fact that they did leave us alone; so, I can’t fault them for continuing to do that.

Anyway, hope everyone’s well…I’ll continue to pop in here and there when I can, but I’d definitely prefer it to be here. ;)

I find myself checking in both places, but all the moving smileys make it load slowly and so it is easier to refresh and post here when I am at work. I prefer the other place when I am home and have time to wait for the smileys to load. ;)

So, post either place and I will be around to read it eventually. At work I just can’t stay on any site for too long. So here or Yahoo CC are really the best places during the work day. ;)

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with the smiley loading issue. At first I was afraid there was something wrong with my computer, but I tried from work, where I have a better computer and a faster connection, and it happens there too. And with school getting busier at the mid-point of the semester, I just haven’t had the patience to wait.

It’s good to know someone will see if I post here, so I probably will do it more often…at least until summer break; then I’ll have a bit more time to deal with the slower site. ;)
