We are going to have a ripe 37 degrees here today!!!! and a possible snow shower!!!! I joined the new place yesterday, and I had a very hard time figuring out how and where to post once I got in it!!!! I know this place has it’s ups and downs, but I like just jumping in and being able to post and seeing everybody elses post at the same time for comments that I want to answer just upon seeing them, I did not find the chat pace in the other place, like this one!!! I love seeing everybody at one time and their avatars!!!! Sorry!!! I arrived to work this morning at 5:45am, yes I was a bit early, since I do not have to be here until 6:30am, it feels like 17 degrees this morning, but they are saying it will warm up, the hardest factor is the WIND if this would just stop blowing SO MUCH, I would indeed be a happy camper!!! lol
I am wishing everybody to have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!! lol

Oh Madame Minerva, I did vote yesterday in the new place, for Wheel of Fortune at that time, I showed as being the only one that voted for Wheel of Fortune, I just want to say that I would be happy just to play any game!!! since it would be almost impossible to play from work, and I do not have a home computer always available to my access!!! I do not think I will be able to play!!!! at all!!! SO I AM WISHING EVERYBODY TO HAVE GOOD LUCK!!! (ducking down) GO GO HUFFLEPUFF’S!!!! “I just could not resist that last shout out” lol

Well I finally got a couple of post through at the other place, but I can not get the color change I want, and my avatar did not show up, I tried to load it in place, but It did not show up either!!!! Bonnie Wright’s birthday is today!!! she is an easy one for me to remember because mine is the 18th, next day!!!!
Well I had better get busy working on a few things so that I can get them out of the way!!!! lol

I’m keeping both places up for now to see how it all shakes out.

It was just announced my school district it making up a snow day on SATURDAY, March 6. :(

My daughter is going to FREAK. She will never want to see snow again. That is just so sad.

Lady Hawke Try explaining that it is a saturday now or it will eat into her Summer vacation.

Our school districts generally only plan for 3 or 4 days for the unforseen, like snow. So it could mean as much as a whole extra week at the end. ;)

Is the old poll taking new posts? I’ll go see for myself. ;)

I have a chicken roasting and potatoes baking. I’ve vacuumed and have clothes in the washer and the dryer.

Now I should go clean myself up. We must go to the public library and find a tiny 3 or 5 point book for my daugher to read and test on to round out her AR points. I don’t want her to waste any more BIG points on this 9 weeks since they have upped her ante. I want her next big book to go toward the next 9 weeks to take the pressure off.

I just spoke to Sirius on FB. He says he’ll be by to check out the new poll when he gets a chance.

Hi everyone!

This is the first time I’ve gotten online all day…it was exciting to sign in and see that Leaky’s up and running again! :)

I supposed I’ll be good with my first post on the new poll and actually answer the question… I went with May – I’m thinking very early in the month (or even the last week of April). That way, it’s after April school vacation week, but before the “official” start of summer with Memorial Day weekend. It’ll give them a few semi-quiet weeks (I use that phrase loosely, since I’m sure there’ll be plenty of fans lined up to get in no matter what time of year it is.) to work out the kinks. Unfortunately, like Rhi, I’ve got to wait for LeakyCon 2011 (unless I win the lottery, LOL) so the actual opening date won’t affect me. :(

Okay, I can’t stick around; I was actually passing through Leaky (since it’s my homepage) on my way to my class site to work on an assignment, but I was sidetracked when I saw that comments were working again then noticed the new poll. I’ll have to catch up everywhere else either later tonight or tomorrow.
