Jim Dale, book-on-tape/CD reader for the US version of the Harry Potter seriesis up for a Grammy in the category of “Spoken Word Album for Children” (#69) for his reading of “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” He is competing with James Earl Jones for reading “The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey”, Susan Sarandon for “Dinosongs: Poems to Celebrate a T. Rex Named Sue”, Paul Newman reading “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and Liam Neeson for his reading of “The Polar Express.”
