Hmmmm… Why is HP-2 up against Hunger Games?

Cool. They deserve them all especially since this was the last HP movie and won’t be nominated again next year whereas the hunger games will have more to come.

What bothers me about this is that The Hunger Games is in the mix. This should be Harry Potter’s year but they’re getting ahead of themselves and trying to ride on all the Hunger Games hype. If this is an awards shows for the best films of 2011, then stick only to films that came out to that time period. Save the rest for next year. Not that this awards show is important, but it would be nice to honor the final film of the HP Franchise. I’m afraid The Hunger Games is going to take away a lot of the spotlight. They shouldn’t even be competing in the first place.

Look, I’m fine with the Hunger Games, but the hype is seriously starting to put me off! I know Potter was the same when it was going on, but honestly, all our nerdy Potter discussion seemed so much more friendly, and…nerdy!
I have to say though, HG has nothing on us when it comes to best fight, best kiss and best cast!! Plus, the Hunger Games have something still to come, for Potter, this was the epic climax of the biggest movie franchise ever (and I reckon it’ll stay that way, simply because ther were more films), and it was the last film adaption of what was the greatest book series of the Golden Age of children’s literature (the hallowed time before dark romance!)

I too am getting a little tired of all the Hunger Games talk, enough is enough already! Let HP have its time to shine, because sadly its over, HG has years to ejoying itself. I still find myself in denial that HP is really over for good. =(

eiVega and Livi22-((ROAR!)), I completely agree. I have nothing against the Hunger Games, actually, I have quite enjoyed the series. However, there is a lot of hype with it, and so many people are saying it is “The New Harry Potter”, which completely turns me off. Nothing could EVER replace what Harry Potter did.
So, being up against the New-Fancy-Schamcy-Film-Series, I think there is only one thing we can do together. Potterheads will have to unite and…

That’s stupid, it won’t let you vote unless you sign in and I’m not making an account that I’ll only use once just for voting.
Soo AGREE with all you guys..THE HYPE IS GETTING AHEAD OF THEMSELVES! THIS IS HARRY POTTER“S YEAR..NOT HUNGER GAMES! Really tired of hearing of that trilogy over and over again, it will just vanish like the Twilight saga..but Potter will remain, AND DESERVES AT LEAST ONE BIT OF RECOGNITION FROM AWARD CEREMONIES
