A reader has pointed out that The Houston Museum of Science has several Harry Potter related clases going on during various holidays and spring break in the area. On Thursday, March 15th at 10am ET for ages 6-11 they will be teaching “Gringotts Gold and Dragons“. As of 8am today, there were only 7 seats left.

Get ahead of the class by attending Hogwarts during Spring Break or try some high-energy chemistry and technoscience! These full-day camps offer vacation fun for children. Select one or take both for a week of science adventures. Campers bring a lunch from home each day or order lunch in advance from McDonald’s.

On April 21st at 10am ET for ages 6-11 they’ll be teaching “Harry Potter™ Wizard Pets – Owls“. There are still 18 seats left as of 8am today.

Join us as our Museum classrooms are transformed into Hogwarts this spring! Step into the world of Harry Potter as you attend Hogwarts classes, learn about wizard pets, the gold at Gringotts and more. You’ll do fun wizard activities such as wand-making as well as learn real science. Don’t worry parents – nothing scary – just good, clean wizard fun!
