According to Agence France-Presse, over 1.3 million Harry Potter books have been sold in China only based on the first 3 releases. The state-run Chinese publishing company “People’s Literature Publishing House” plans on releasing Goblet of Fire on June 1st.

J.K. Rowling is working with world-reknown architect Frank Gehry to bring a cancer centre to Tayside in Scotland. Gehry designed the building for free and Rowling will make an appearance in Dundee to answer fan and reader questions while raising money for the centre.

Daniel Radcliffe Autograph Here it is – a first original autograph by Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe. Its authenticity is beyond all doubt, as it was given to Mike Edmonds, who plays a Gringotts goblin in the movie and worked on set with Dan. The autograph is up for auction at eBay.

The Official Harry Potter Web site today updated their site with “Chaser Practise” to complement their “Beater Practise” from earlier in April. The site also says Keeper and Seeker Practise are coming soon.
