A HUGE update from Premiere Magazine (along with Woman’s Day magazine), (although in all honesty it was scheduled for weeks ago), including some interesting rumors, pictures from their previous paper edition, and a contest with prizes supplied by none other then Deb Martino from the Sylvan Lane Shoppe. I already found the hidden broom – did you?

Some of the more interesting rumors include:

Sequel Status
Warner Brothers has officially given the second Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, the green light. Shooting is confirmed for late 2001, and they’ve set a preliminary release date of Thanksgiving 2002.

So that makes it official then.

Little Star Makes it Big
Verne Troyer, aka Mini-Me from Austin Powers, has landed a role in the Harry Potter movie. The actor will play Professor Flitwick. According to an insider, “Verne’s delighted he’s got the role. He’s a huge Harry Potter fan.”

We all know who he’s playing and it’s not Flitwick

Out and About at the London Zoo
In an effort to make the mythical beings and dragons depicted in the movie more lifelike, some of the film grips have been trying to get their grips on some of the world’s most deadly creatures at London Zoo’s famous Lizard House.

That’s one we haven’t heard before!

Williams Sneaks In?
Robin Williams, who worked with director Chris Columbus on Mrs. Doubtfire and Bicentennial Man, is reported to have an uncredited cameo in the Harry Potter flick.

Already debunked.

The Leaky Cauldron is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.
