Our reader Panda Pinke, sent us a first impression of the upcoming Harry Potter TV Commercial:
Last weekend I was shopping at my local mall when I noticed a woman who had a clipboard in her hand come toward me and my friend. I knew she was going to ask me to do a survey so I planned on walking by, but to my great surprise she asked me, “would you like to take a Harry Potter survey?” My heart did a few backflips and I followed her to a backroom of the mall. While there I was shown a upcoming TV commercial for “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. It included a breathtaking Quidditch scene, a spectacular entrance on Hagrid’s part, and amazing special effects. I have seen the trailer and having witnessed the commercial I am even more compelled to see the movie. Along with getting my Harry Potter fix for the day I was compensated with one US dollar. I found the whole thing rather funny. Though I was dissapointed at the fact that the people asking questions and running the operation had never read a Harry Potter book and couldn’t even spell “Quidditch” and “Hogwarts”.
