Movie Headlines has an update on Christian Bale being up for Remus Lupin:

Christian says he is “very interested in working with Aronofsky”. That said, he’s hoping Darren Aronofsky’s “Batman Beyond” gets off the ground so he can put his hand up to play Batman. Earlier today, Bale’s agent got in touch with us to say that the rumor of Christian being interested in a “Harry Potter” movie is rubbish. He’s not interested. I’ll let you know what happens with Bale’s Batman involvement.
