Students at Governor Baxter School for the Deaf turned to “Harry Potter” this week to improve their literacy skills – even as they search for the sorcerer’s stone. The Baxter School became Hogwart School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and students were divided into Gryffindors, Slytherin, Raven Claw and Hufflepuff to learn about the fictional boy wizard who has stormed children’s popular culture. TotalGames. net reveals additional details on the upcoming “Chamber of Secrets” game:

The game centres on young Harry, who having ignored Dobby the house-elf’s warning that disaster will strike if he does so – returns back to Hogwarts for his second year. Before long the boy Potter finds himself wrapped up in a plot involving his “Mudblood” classmates, who are sequentially turning up petrified (as in transformed into stone). In order to get to the bottom of the mystery Harry must explore some nicely detailed free-roaming 3D environments, where he’ll meet characters such as Moaning Myrtle, Hagrid and Hedwig, among many others. Adding some depth to the action will be the spell casting system in evidence, these spells can help Harry out when he encounters foes, but they must be perfectly executed or they’re likely to go wrong with disastrous (and sometimes comical) consequences. Adding further to the challenge will be a series of mini games such as “de-gnoming” Mrs. Weasley’s garden and challenging your fellow students in Professor Lockhart’s Duelling Club.
