In this new interview in Empire magazine, director Mike Newell lays to rest the speculation that GOF would be split into two movies. “As far as I’m concerned it’s absolutely possible to do it in one. Mother Owl Stops Work at NASA

A great horned owl has decided Pad 39A of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida is the perfect place to hatch her eggs. NASA has stopped work at the site until the babies are born. Just look at that expression – you’d stop work, too. Thanks to ‘G’ for the link.

New Azkaban Site on the Way

The official Harry Potter webmaster newsletter today said that WB will have a new Azkaban site available for viewing soon. We’ve heard it’s nearly completed as well, and can say that it’s been under way for a long while and has a lot of enthusiasm behind it. More info as soon as we can.

Stouffer Appeal Denied

A federal appeals court has held up a ruling against Nancy Stouffer, who claimed that J.K. Rowling infringed upon her work. The sanction, for $50,000, was held by US District Judge Allen G. Schwartz of the Southern District of New York, who said there was “clear evidence” that Stouffer had presented her evidence against Rowling …read more!
