Sacrifice Part 1- Harry Potter

There has been a lot of sacrifice on the parts of many characters in both Harry Potter and Twilight. This is going to be a multi-part. I’d like to focus on one character today.

Harry Potter Where do we start? Harry has had to give up so much. Living with the Dursley’s he was forced to relinquish things that many children his age take for granted. He wore hand-me-downs from Dudley that were many sizes too large. He cooked and cleaned for his relatives. He lived in a cupboard, under the stairs, for eleven years because Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were too stingy and afraid to give him his own room.

I believe that one of Harry’s greatest sacrifices was at the end of Deathly Hallows. He has all three Hallows and he and Dumbledore have a chat. Dumbledore and Harry discuss Harry’s options: Go back and finish off Voldemort for good or remain and see where the ‘train’ takes him (to see his parents and sirius?).
