Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will continue her visit with Michelle Obama, wife of the President of the United States Barack Obama, as they are scheduled to attend a performance at the Royal Opera House in London, England tomorrow. The Independent reports that during this outing there will be “a programme of operatic and ballet extracts. JK Rowling will give a
reading during the performance, introduced by the broadcaster Mariella
Frostrup.” There is no word at this time what Jo will be reading and we will of course update with more on this when we can.
As we first told you yesterday, J.K. Rowling was a guest at a special dinner held in honor for the spouses of those attending the G20 summit in London. As noted here in the Telegraph, (small photo of Jo at the event here) JKR enjoyed an evening of fine dining, sitting next to Michelle Obama during the dinner held at 10 Downing Street, the residence of UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah. You can see photos of Jo at this event here in our image galleries. More are due to be released here via the official 10 Downing Street Flickr.
