Callum Turner In Talks to Play Theseus Scamander in ‘Fantastic Beasts 2’

Variety and Pottermore are reporting that Theseus Scamander, the war hero and older brother of Newt, is being cast!
English actor Callum Turner is reportedly in talks to play the character in Fantastic Beasts 2, which begins filming this summer.

This latest piece of casting news comes right on the heels of last week’s exciting announcement that Jude Law will be portraying a young Albus Dumbledore. As production nears, the frequency of casting announcements and plot revelations will undoubtedly ramp up.
The untitled Fantastic Beasts sequel will hit theaters 16 November, 2018.
