A Little Series 4 Fun

I was trolling around for some juicy rumors this weekend and I found something that’s not a rumor at all — just fun. It’s a Doctor Who personality test! I was a bit surprised to find out I’m most like Rose. I wouldn’t have guessed that at all — I would have pegged me as a Donna type if anything. But hey, this sort of thing never lies, right? After all, who hasn’t taken a Harry Potter Sorting Quiz (pick one, any one) only to find yourself sorting into a different house every time? (Maybe that’s just me.)
But Siriusly…
I did find a little bit of juicy info from a pretty decent source, suggesting there will be another multi-Doctor Children In Need special. I’m not sure what I feel about that, because the one Doctor missing from the rumor was #10. The most credible rumor had Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Colin Baker reuniting for the special.
Now here’s where I have to confess something. I’m a complete failure when it comes to knowing my Classic Who. I’ve watched a few older episodes but I’m a really recent convert to all things Who, and I just am not up on my Who history. So I’m not sure whether Baker or Davison or the other Baker are the best Doctors ever, or why it’s just those three in the rumor and not Paul McGann or Sylvestor McCoy. I do know that there was a collective fandom sigh when series four wrapped up and we could finally let go of the whole Eight Doctor “half-human” debate. But I’m not sure what to make of this latest rumor.
I told you last time about a rumor that one or possibly two of the specials next year will feature Donna, Wilf and the Master. Well, You-Tube is burning up with speculation. My favorite wild theory is that Donna’s suppressed Time Lord side will somehow take her to the Master’s ashes, where she picks up his ring and that somehow brings John Simm back. That why Donna’s in the episode but without knowing exactly what’s going on. OR… theory B… the Master had Doctor #10’s hand, and used it, so there’s some aspect of the Master in the hand that is calling to the Time Lord hidden inside Donna.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me how it works out. I’d love to see Donna again, whatever that means. (Of course, I’d also love to see the HBP movie this November rather than in July. *sigh*)
