HP Cast

In this belated weekly roundup about what members of the Harry Potter cast have been up to, we have news about the filming of Tom Felton’s new project, photos in our galleries from recent actor appearances and more!

A press release on the Warner Bros. Canada website reveals that filming has commenced on “The Apparition” in which Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) stars as an expert in the supernatural. The press release states, “shooting is underway at historic Studio Babelsberg in Berlin, Germany, and will move to Los Angeles toward the end of production.” Also starring are Ashley Greene, who portrayed Alice in the “Twilight” series and Sebastian Stan, who portrayed Carter Baizen on the television programme “Gossip Girl.”

Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) and Brendon Gleeson (Mad-Eye Moody) attended the “Green Zone” premiere. “Green Zone” follows U.S. Army Officer Roy Miller, portrayed by Matt Damon, in his hunt for Weapons of Mass Destruction after discovering some faulty intelligence. Photos from the event can be found here in our galleries.

In related news, Reuters reports that Jason Isaacs is playing the lead role in the pilot for a brand new legal thriller, “Pleading Guilty.” If it is picked up, the programme would be broadcast on Fox. The series is based on a book by Scott Turow and stars Isaacs in the role of Mack.

Emma Watson’s line with People Tree is now available on the popular clothing website ASOS. The website ships clothing to selected international destinations. Thanks to Magical Menagerie for the heads up!

At Waterstones in Piccadilly Circus on Saturday 6th of March, Emma Thompson (Professor Trelawney) will be signing copies of her newly released children’s book, Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang. The signing will take place from 12:00pm and you can find more information about the event at this link. Please note that Emma Thompson will only be signing her new release and will not sign merchandise.

Finally, as you may remember, last week we told you about Rupert Grint’s (Ron Weasley) donation of a butterfly painting to benefit Keech Hospice Care. Grint’s painting can now be seen here in our galleries. Thanks for the heads up, Wendy!
