This morning’s Daily Telegraph had an interesting item under City Diary:

RAILTRACK has disappointed a bunch of journalists from Taiwan television. They had asked if they could come over and film Platform 9 3/4 at King’s Cross, where Harry Potter catches the Hogwarts Express to school. “We told them it didn’t exist,” says a Railtrack spokesman. “We explained that we had platforms 8, 9 and 10, but no 9 3/4 – the author JK Rowling had just
