Coming Attractions confirms that Warner Bros. will, in fact, be airing the Harry Potter teaser trailer during the Super Bowl:

“January 23, 2001… Just a quick reminder, thanks to an Anonymous type. Warner Brothers has confirmed that Harry’s going to the Super Bowl. A thirty-second Potter commercial will air during the football gala, which happens January 28th. We include the date here for those non-sports types who don’t keep up with such things.
