Harry Potter Galleries, (fast becoming our sister site for the amount of times we link to each other), reports that Chocolate Frogs are being sold in the UK.

The British department store chain Marks&Spencer is now selling Chocolate Frogs. Eight milk chocolate frogs in a cardboard box, that contains one “collectable magic card” as a bonus (£1.49). Unfortunately these cards are somewhat disappointing… the complete set consists of eight 3-D motion cards, but the motifs on these cards have nothing in common with the “real cards” in the

Harry Potter books, no Cliodna, no Morgana, no Agrippa! What you get is the standard, well-known artwork of the calendars, mugs and t-shirts — Fluffy, Norbert, Mrs. Norris, Hedwig, Scabbers, Gringotts, and 2 different Hogwarts cards.

I’m VERY disappointed about the cards. I’ve heard umpteen rumors that Wizards of the Coast was doing a collector’s card game based on the Wizards and Witches mentioned in the books and that these cards would go in with Cap Candy-produced Chocolate Frogs. I’ll have to see what happened.
