Dark Horizons reports the Gloucester Today printed both pictures and a great article. The site appears to be down, but if it comes back up we’ll link to the article. If ANYONE has a copy they can send us directly, or email the pictures to us, please do!

Harry Potter: Gloucester Today recently ran a five-page spread on the film with pics and text galore in regards to the four-day shoot in the local King’s High School. Seems a lot of the students were involved, and here’s a description of what they did: “They were mainly filmed walking up and down The Cloisters. At one point they had to look scared because there was meant to be a big troll nearby. Another time they had to pretend there was a flying walking stick and had to duck from it”. John Cleese, John Hurt, Rik Mayall and Alan Rickman were all a part of this shoot. One interesting note is that rugby player Martin Bayfield doubled for the character of ‘Hagrid’ as actor Robbie Coltrane apparently could only wear the the costume for 2-3 minutes at a time due to the heat inside it, whilst Martin could last for up to 15 mins. Thanks to ‘Glenn’

Here’s the scene with the troll:

There was an uproar. It took several purple firecrackers exploding from the end of Professor Dumbledore’s wand to bring silence.

“Prefects,” he rumbled, “lead your Houses back to the dormitories immediately!”

Percy was in his element.

“Follow me! Stick together, first years! No need to fear the troll if you follow my orders! Stay close behind me, now. Make way, first years coming through! Excuse me, I’m a prefect!”

“How could a troll get in?” Harry asked as they climbed the stairs.

“Don’t ask me, they’re supposed to be really stupid,” said Ron. “Maybe Peeves let it in for a Halloween joke.”

They passed different groups of people hurrying in different directions. As they jostled their way through a crowd of confused Hufflepuffs, Harry suddenly grabbed Ron’s arm.

We’ve also reported on Mr. Bayfield’s involvement before.

Also, with John Cleese (Nearly-Headless Nick) and Rik Mayall (Peeves) there, it makes me wonder if they were filming the ghost scene mentioned in the previous post. But I can’t figure out why John Hurt is there – the first rumor was that he was playing a wizard on the back of a Chocolate Frog card. The next rumor was that he’d be playing Mr. Ollivander. Perhaps he’s read the books inside and out and is playing with our minds. Could he be The Bloody Baron?
