Promise: (quoted from the Harry Potter FAQ): “The Daily Prophet area is where you should go to get the latest news on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (or Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for those of you who live in the United Kingdom and Europe.) That area of the Harry Potter web site is where you can find accurate and up-to-date news about the film, its release dates and maybe, if you’re good, some inside information you can’t find elsewhere.

The Daily Prophet section is not solely for film news, although we know plenty of you are very interested in it. We’ll have information about the Harry Potter books and Harry Potter events.

Reality: launched in early February 2001, the whole Daily Prophet section consists of three “news items”: the first teaser poster and the American and international versions of the first trailer – that’s it! Not a single article or “accurate and up-to-date news about the film”, no release dates, no cast information or actors portraits, no “inside information”, nothing about the books or even events.

Even worse, the whole section has not been updated since March 10! Neither the series of officially released publicity stills, nor the second teaser poster had been included, upcoming “big events”, as the second movie trailer that is expected this week, are not announced.
