A reader tells us the latest issue of Nintendo Power has this snippet about the two Game Boy games coming out:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is coming to Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance this fall from EA games. The magical world of J.K. Rowling’s first novel comes to life in two seperate versions. In the GBA Harry Potter, you’ll enroll in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for Harry’s first year. Each term will bring about new challenges, from searching for Hagrid’s runaway pets to exploring the maze of Gringotts. Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Neville Longbotton will join you in classes where you’ll have to complete 29 skills, such as mixing potions for Professor Snape.
In the GBC game, Harry must complete tasks, solve puzzles, learn spells, mix potions, and earn Experience points. Using and trading Wizard Cards is the central theme of this adventure/RPG game. In fact, you’ll have to trade with friends to collect all the cards. Players will meet more than 100 characters from the book, including Professor Dumbledore and Draco Malfoy.
Both games are being developed by KnowWonder for EA games.
