Harry Potter conjured up most popular fictional character in a poll conducted by famed waxwork maker Madame Tussaud’s (from the BBC; thanks to the Harry Potter intayside site for the link).

Even after dubbing the Thai soundtrack to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, some of the young actors who provided the voices of JK Rowling’s characters say her books didn’t hold any special magic for them.

Reuters reports that Warner Bros. is a wiz at foreign box office.

Image Tours is offering a 10-day tour of enchanted England, with stops at many of the locations used in the Harry Potter film, including Gloucester Cathedral and Alnwick Castle.
