Authors for Cystic Fibrosis

Today I’m deviating from the usual topic.

I have a list of author blogs that I check regularly, and one of them is Jeaniene Frost, author of the bestselling Night Huntress series. Today she posted on her blog about Cystic Fibrosis, and how it affected her through someone very close to her. She also linked to fellow author Colleen Gleason’s blog where she talks about a day in the life of her son, a child living with CF.

I read both blogs and I am not afraid to admit that I was a little teary after reading them. The challenges these kids face, and how they still live life with so much gusto have really touched me. I’m coming to you today asking that you pass the word on to anyone you know who might be interested in contributing to the CF Foundation to help those like “Pirate Boy” live a longer and healthier life.
