As she and her friend Robert Galbraith continue to work together on the new installment in the Comoron Strike mysteries, J.K. Rowling has been very active on Twitter (writing breaks, work breaks, tea breaks, etc.). This morning, Ms. Rowling decided to answer (with a flare of that famous sass and humor) a few Harry Potter questions that have been in the air for quite a long time. According to her twitter:

a valid question on Tumblr (credit to the urls/people)

. The Horcrux-receptacle has to be destroyed BEYOND REPAIR, so Harry would need to have DIED.

. but what about the resurrection stone from the ring that still worked even after its horcrux was destroyed?

. The crack in the stone was irreparable. Only Dumbledore cd have extracted the soul fragment but left the original charm intact.

Does anyone know what happened to Fluffy during/after the Battle of ?

what happened to Fluffy after he was released into the forest? I hope he returned to Hogwarts for the battle!

. He was repatriated to Greece. Dumbledore liked to put Hagrid’s more foolish acquisitions back where they belong – not the forest.
