News, Rickman

It has been less than a week since the world was shocked by the news of Alan Rickman’s untimely death. While we still mourn the loss of a beloved and very talented actor and director, we do know we will hear his voice again–at least for a short while–when two of his movie projects (Eye in the Sky and Alice Through the Looking Glass) are released posthumously.

However, one of Rickman’s very last projects completed before his death has been gaining a lot of attention. On December 13, 2015, a little more than a month before he passed, Alan Rickman released a YouTube video with Save the Children and Refugee Council. The hope was for the video to go viral and donations to accumulate to help refugees. So far it has received just over 3 million views.

For Alan Rickman, we can do better than that.

Grab your Kleenex boxes and other brands of facial tissues, for hearing his voice again may reopen your tear ducts. In honor of Alan Rickman, watch the video, possibly make a donation if you are able, and help him fight for a cause that he fought for unto his death.
