“Now You See Me 2” Character Posters: Dan Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe plays a Muggle who is trying to be a magician…but he’s very bad at it–like Arthur Weasley bad at it. Or at least that’s what it looks like as Dan takes on the best illusionists, The Four Horsemen, in Now You See Me 2. Little of his character was revealed with the first movie trailer released last year. Earlier today, Lionsgate released 9 character promotional posters, including one of Dan.

EW posted two of the photos, and wrote:

For a movie about idealistic magicians robbing from the rich to give to the poor, Now You See Me took home a surprising amount of bank at the box office. The star-studded action caper grossed more than $350 million around the world, and the sequel is aiming to prove that thrilled audiences are eager to fall for the same trick twice. 

Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco are back, with Lizzy Caplan rounding out the Four Horsemen (replacing Isla Fisher). This time, they’re challenged to perform some impossible feats in order to clear their names after they get tangled with a shady tech prodigy named Walter Mabry, (who may have some connection to a character from the first film), portrayed by movies’ and literature’s most famous wizard.
