The final trailer for J.K. Rowling’s new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films is here! It is 2 minutes and 30 seconds packed with new and exciting material for the upcoming film. Reguardless of whether or not someone is a Harry Potter fan, the film just looks like it is going to be a good movie for the sake of being a good movie–hopefully beyond the scope of the fantastic advertising campaign we’ve seen.

It appeared that this trailer was supposed to be released tomorrow on EllenTube. However, the tweet from Pottermore have been delayed due to glitches. The tweet stating it would come out tomorrow has since been replaced with a tweet that boasts a beautiful new movie poster:

Pottermore has already broken down the new information presented in the trailer–in almost a Leaky-like detailed fashion. We see new creatures, more intimate moments between Tina and Newt and Queenie and Jacob, we hear more from President Picquery and her right-hand man Graves, and we finally see Credence in action!   FB-TRL3-89638r   We see more of Newt’s case in the new trailer–Newt is popping out of it, Jacob is falling into it, and more. Pottermore describes Newt’s case, writing:

“Newt clearly has no trouble befriending a No-Maj, and we get our first look inside Newt’s case through Jacob’s enthralled eyes. Oh and Newt’s case turns out to actually be a magical paradise where all his beasts can live in their own, ideal habitats.”

FB-TRL3-88016   Above all, most Harry Potter fans will pick up on a familiar name right away. Grindelwald. Grindelwald is currently wreaking havoc in Europe. As the Voldemort of the 1920’s, he’s trying to establish a world where wizards rule over muggles/no-majs. He was also Albus Dumbledore’s child-hood love, whom Dumbledore had to defeat and win the Elder Wand… The trailer gives fans a closer look at the Jazz age, the speak-easy named The Blind Pig, Mary Lou and her Second Salemers, and more. When we talked to Dan last December, he told us of an incident with one of Newt’s beasts. He accidentally spilled a mating musk scent on himself, which the quartet was using to try and coax the beast to safety. He then got chased by the beast who was trying to have its way with him. We may get a look at that humorous event here:

Last, but certainly not least, the Fantastic Beasts cast released a short video message, inviting fans to a special Q&A event.

The Q&A will be a live stream event at select theaters that allow fans to interact with the cast of Fantastic Beasts. The event will take place Thursday, October 13th. You must RSVP to the event at wbtickets.com/FantasticBeastsWB. The event is at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. For those who cannot make it to California, the event will also be streaming on the Fantastic Beasts Facebook page.
