Author and Twitter queen J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling ) has grown increasingly active on Twitter, and this week has been particularly busy on her feed. From political posts, to Fantastic Beasts related tidbits, to Hermione Granger and Cormoran Strike. She’s popular for her outspokenness about all topics political, her charities, the Potter-verse and everything in-between.
Fantastic Beasts kept cropping up in her feed this week, and she retweeted several articles about real-life creatures with magic-like qualities:
I honestly don’t know why I bother inventing #FantasticBeasts.https://t.co/PRYn3SLj5x

Amongst opinions on U.S. politics, Rowling tweeted a picture from the set of the Cormoran Strike series. She also told Cormoran (a Strike fan) that he was a bit confused as he was tweeting at her while he was with Robert Galbraith:

This is all getting very complicated. @RGalbraith is with you right now, but you’re asking @jk_rowling to let you come tomorrow? https://t.co/UoeTFSUa3U

She also tweeted about Bana Alabed, (the little girl to whom she sent Harry Potter ebooks) with an update about her safety and the status of the bombing:
No more bombing.. I have 20 days of peace in my life. I thought the world was just like Aleppo & bombing was normal pic.twitter.com/sBx1jwRpIe — Bana Alabed (@AlabedBana) January 14, 2017
Told a fan that buying a Niffler was extremely illegal in the best way possible:
Can’t answer, sorry. You’re asking me to facilitate the illegal trafficking of magical creatures, as prohibited by Ministry Ordination 297b. https://t.co/utHk9juclD

To top it off she mentioned our favourite bookworm, Hermione Granger, telling a fan her favourite variation of her name:
My favourite mispronunciation of ‘Hermione’ was ‘Hermy – won.’ It suited her! https://t.co/zNmMS9GAq6 — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) January 13, 2017
It’s strange to think a few years ago J.K. Rowling had only a couple of Tweets to her name, when now the list of brilliant Tweets grows ever longer, and her feed is filled with gems like this:
