Thoughts are With ‘Harry Potter’ Actor Jim Tavare After Accident

Our thoughts are with Harry Potter actor and stand-up comedian Jim Tavare, who is in intensive care after a car crash left him with a punctured lung, a broken neck and multiple breaks in his right leg.

Tavare has a special place in Leaky’s hearts, as he portrayed Tom – The Leaky Cauldron’s Inkeeper – in Prisoner of Azkaban.

His wife Laura gave updates on his condition:

“Now that his family have been informed, Jim has asked me to let you all know that he was involved in a serious car accident yesterday, a head on collision.

“He’s currently in ICU intensive care. He has 15 broken ribs, fractures in breastbones, a pictured lung, multiple breaks in his right leg, and a broken neck.

“He’s had two blood transfusion so far and is about to go in for his first surgery.”
