Home printers used to print mainly on paper. If you were lucky, they printed in colour, and even printed photos. Now, um, it’s getting weird. You can print 3D-objects and, as of this autumn, some of those can be licensed Harry Potter designs, such as characters, creatures, and wands and other objects.

Toybox, a consumer 3D printing platform designed for kids and families, today announced an extension of its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, introducing the Potterverse to its growing library of printable creations.

The Harry Potter collection represents a significant milestone for Toybox’s global community of 3D printers.

“At Toybox, our mission is to inspire creativity by bringing world-class stories and characters into the hands of kids and families,” said Ben Baltes, CEO of Toybox. “Harry Potter has captivated generations through its themes of friendship, courage, and imagination, making it a natural fit for our platform.”

Launching on October 23rd, the initial Harry Potter collection will feature a series of intricately designed wand replicas inspired by the wands owned by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, allowing fans to recreate some of the franchise’s most recognizable magical artifacts at home.

Additional designs arriving this fall will include collectible character figures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, accompanied by their beloved companions: Hedwig, Harry’s loyal snowy owl; Crookshanks, Hermione’s ginger cat; and Scabbers, Ron’s erstwhile pet rat.

The collection will continue to expand with new printable designs inspired by fan-favorite characters, creatures, and objects from the wizarding world.
