Small clear glass bowl
Silver acrylic paint
White or off-white Sculpey clay
Instructions
Paint the outside of the bowl with the silver paint, let dry, then cover with a thin layer of Sculpy. You can skip the silver painting step and just add a few drops of the silver acrylic to water to achieve an effect similar to that described in the book.
Once you get the sculpy looking like stone (texture-wise), gently carve some runes into it with a toothpick. Google is a good place to look up these symbols. Be careful when carving, you get a better effect if the carving doesn't go all the way to the glass.
Bake in oven for time indicated on Sculpey package.
