This awards season has been a huge success for Potter and we’ve had a lot of excellent movies from Potter alumni in the past year, but looking at the year ahead is massively exciting.

The golden trio (Emma, Dan and Rupert) are keeping wildly busy of late. Beauty and the Beast, of course, is set to release this month (March 17th). You can see the trailer below, and read more about Emma Watson’s eco-friendly press tour for the film here.

Rupert Grint will star in a new adaptation of Snatch, which comes to Sony’s streaming service Crackle on March 16th. Yesterday a new trailer hit for the 10-parter:

Grint will be appearing in a Q&A in LA on March 7th according to Ice Cream Man, and will be on The Late Late Show With James Corden on March 6th.

As reported by Leaky a couple of days ago, Daniel Radcliffe will be starring in survival thriller Jungle, which recently released its first trailer:

Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn) will star in CBS Films adaptation of Julian Barnes’ 2011 Man Booker prize winning novel The Sense of An Ending on March 10th, when the film opens for limited release. See a new trailer for the film – also starring Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery – below:

Everyone’s excited for the new Ducktales relaunch on Disney XD, starring David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr.) as Scrooge McDuck. The cast released an awesome cover of the theme tune recently, and the first trailer for the show just launched – who cares if it’s meant for kids!

A bit more geared towards an adult audience is Hampstead, an upcoming romance starring Potter’s Mad-Eye Moody, Brendan Gleeson and releasing in the UK on June 23rd. A summary of the film is as follows:

“The story sees Keaton play an American widow living near the picturesque Hampstead Heath in the British capital, who one day stumbles upon Gleeson’s reclusive, shack-dwelling recluse.

When his home comes under threat from property developers looking to build luxury flats on the land, the two join forces to fight off the threat. James Norton, Lesley Manville, Jason Watkins and Simon Callow also star.”

See the newest trailer below:

Timothy Spall recently starred in an extended trailer for political drama The Journey. The film was acquired for UK release by The Swen Group, and is set to release in late June:

Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts) stars in the newest trailer for Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales, releasing May 26th:

We recently reported on Bill Nighy’s (Rufus Scrimgeour) new romantic comedy Their Finest, which released its official trailer just over a week ago, and will open in the US on April 7th and in the UK on April 21st:

Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein) will star in Alien: Covenant on May 19th, which you can see the trailer for below:

Finally, Katie Leung (Cho Chang) recently gave an interview on acting after Potter, and is starring in performances of Snow in Midsummer by Justin Audibert and Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig through March 25th. The trailer is below:

That’s a hefty list of trailers! Which are you most excited to see? It’s an exciting year ahead for films featuring Potter and Fantastic Beasts actors so far!
