Tiger Electronics has put up more details about the games they’re showing at Toy Fair:
Harry Potter Quidditch Game: The game is sculpted like a Nimbus Two Thousand Quidditch broom, that extends to 48 inches in length so that kids can actually “fly” around the field with Harry Potter! Motion sensors inside the game allow kids to ride the broom and control the Quidditch gameplay that appears on the dot-matrix LCD screen. Kids play as the Keeper, the Chasers and the Beaters or even as the Seeker and try to catch the Golden Snitch! Rise up into the air, dive, turn, fly and beat Slytherin to win one for the Gryffindor team! Suggested retail: $34.99; Ages 5 & up;
Availability: Spring 2001
Harry Potter Book of Spells: A personalized electronic encyclopedia on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Simply by highlighting a main character, creature, item, or location, players can pull up complete biographical information along with graphic animations of the specific items that they have selected. Children can even learn all about the rules of Quidditch and see how it is played. Also includes a quiz game and built-in organizer functions. Suggested retail: $24.99, Ages 7 & up;
Availability: Summer 2001
