Today’s Daily Telegraph has a letter to the editor about publisher Emma Matthewson’s derrogatory use of “muggles”. Ms. Matthewson’s letter from 03/30 read:

SIR – As the commissioning editor of the Harry Potter books, I was surprised to read your report (March 29). No deadline has ever been agreed or broken in respect of the next Harry Potter which always has been, and remains, unscheduled. J K Rowling made this clear a year ago at the time of the launch of the fourth book. To imply a broken promise by anyone is simply untrue.

We are all looking forward to the next Harry Potter and we would be muggles to be impatient while J K Rowling is in the middle of writing it.
