Not a week ago, we were forced to post a short message saying why it was crucial that people not poach our bandwidth. Now, we’ve had to take the COS Trailer #2 shot-by-shot off of our site, because people were linking directly to the images, taking advantage of our bandwidth, and causing our server to crash – repeatedly.

We have received many, many emails from you all, thanking us for this site – and we love getting them. This site is an absolute joy to this staff. But we cannot function if people do not have respect for what we’ve asked – to simply not link directly to the images. We are working out an alternate solution to this problem, and it should be working soon – we’ll keep you updated. But keep in mind: a word to the wise is usually sufficient. We said it would be a problem if people linked directly to the images – now we’ve had to take a great feature down because people forgot to listen. We don’t want to do this – we want to continue providing the HP community with as much news, and as many exclusives, as possible. But we can’t do it without your help! All we ask is that you respect our requests.
