Our bank is charging us $15.00 for each wire transfer into our account, so unless you’re able to donate more than $16.00, it doesn’t make sense to do it. In fact, it’s less expensive for anyone in the US to send a money order via the US Mail, FedEx, DSL or UPS’ second day air service, or team up with a friend and overnight two or more checks so we have them in hand tomorrow.

We’re also looking into Western Union’s rates for money transfers, which are instantaneous, and can be done with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Their rates for transfers within the US are also $15.00. If you’re interested in doing this (perhaps because you can’t activate your PayPal account quickly enough) then let us know at [email protected].
