Nimbus – 2003 Reminder

Jan 15, 2003

Today is the last day to register for Nimbus – 2003 (the first international Harry Potter symposium) at the initial rate of $99.75 – tomorrow, the registration fee goes up by thirty dollars. Hundreds of HP fans (including some well respected authors and scholars from around the world) have already registered – and the list of confirmed guest speakers now includes Dr. Phillip Nel, Judith Krug of the American Library Association, Dr. John Granger and John Highfield of the Daily Telegraph.

Today is also the last day to submit a proposal, so if the announcements about Order of the Phoenix caused your thoughts about the series to start swirling like memories in a Pensieve, submit a proposal on the topic of your choice – and remember that you’ll have three weeks between the time OoTP comes out and the day the event starts to read it, process it, and get ready to talk about it!
