Author Lynn Schofield Looks at Teens, Potter and Media Culture

Christianity Today has an interview with Lynn Schofield Clark, the author of From Angels to Aliens: Teenagers, the Media, and the Supernatural. Ms. Schofield discusses her book, modern teenage culture and her opinion on why young adults are turning to Harry Potter.
They (stories like Harry Potter) feature teenagers in central roles who are called by something beyond them to do something bigger than themselves. They do that by joining together with a small group of friends who support their mission.
