U of Edinburgh to Honor JKR on July 8

As previously reported, JKR will soon receive her honorary degree from the University of Edinburgh. The ceremony will take place on July 8 (another special day for Rowling; the four-year anniversary of the publication of Goblet of Fire) and while JKR is not slated to speak, there is expected to be a photo call (and we're sure there will be plenty of coverage). She will receive a doctor honoris causa, one of the university's highest accolades.
