Emmy Noms for Rickman, Thompson, and Cleese

In Emmy Award nominations announced today, three Harry Potter actors were recognized for their work in televsion.
Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape) was nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie : “Something the Lord Made”- as Alfred Blalock.

Emma Thompson (Prof. Trelawney) was nominated as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie : “Angels In America”-as Nurse Emily, Homeless Woman, and The Angel.

John Cleese (Nearly Headless Nick) was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series: Lyle Finster on ” Will & Grace”
The awards will be presented on Sept. 19th, and airs on ABC.
