There’s an Ananova item parading as news, implying that Daniel Radcliffe could play in the film version of Sebastian Faulks’ WWI book, Birdsong.
This is patently untrue for many reasons, the most important of which is that Daniel is on set until the spring doing GoF, and then will be taking his GCSEs (OWLs 🙂 in June of 2005. So, no extra curricular movies for him.

Also, the item simply quotes author Faulks passing a comment about how long it’s taking the movie to be made, and idly wondering after Radcliffe and whether he’ll be old enough by the time the movie films. Not news in the slightest, but the stuff of which rumors are made. Repeat: Daniel is not in talks to be in this film.
