TLC has received official confirmation from Scholastic that the title of the sixth book will be Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, with a hyphen connecting “Half” and “Blood,” matching the way “half-blood” is spelled in the books. This is the format in which Scholastic will be producing the book. Apologies to all the theorists who were excited about the missing piece of punctuation. 🙂 We know, punctuation as news, we know…but we think you’ll agree that when it comes to JKR, that hyphen could have been a big deal.
(No word on whether this will carry to the British edition, it will most likley follow the style in the books up until now.)

In related news, or maybe not so related, this is TLC’s 5,000th post. Cool, huh?
