The Telegraph reports that 20's actress Anna May Wong was the original owner of the dress Emma wore to last week's London premiere.

Like Emma, Miss Wong, pictured in a similar dress, stood at 5ft 6in and also started her acting career as a child star, in a silent film, The Red Lantern - produced in 1919 she was 13.
This is where the similarities end. Miss Wong, who died in 1961, was known by film critics as a seductress, exotic temptress, a femme fatale, whereas Emma has been described as a "happy-go lucky girl next door".
