...some 79 years ago, a boy named Tom Marvolo Riddle was born.
This year we learned in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince more about the cirmcumstances of the birth of the boy who would become known as Lord Voldemort. While we at Leaky do not wish him particular happiness this day, for he has wrought nothing but death, destruction, and unhappiness in his time here amoung us, we do mark this moment as one which has ultimately impacted our magical world. So where ever you are Lord V, celebrating this day with your Death Eaters in some vile nasty manner no doubt, enjoy it for now... while you still can. Book seven is still yet to come.
