Amazon: 700,000 Copies of Half-Blood Prince Pre-Ordered

Amazon has announced that they have received 700,000 pre-orders for the new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince book, which is due to be released on July 16. Amazon also said that HBP has been the top selling book for 18 straight weeks. Previously Amazon announced that the orders for book 6 would arrive on July 16. Despite the good news of the Potter book pre-orders, Amazon shares fell yesterday after the reports that the company's net income had dropped.
