The deadline for submitting presentations, panels, roundtables, workshop and the like to The Witching Hour, the HP convention to take place in Salem, Mass., in October, is fast approaching. By Sunday the opportunity will have vanished, so if you’re thinking about it, get on it. More at the site’s submissions page. (One of the presenters is TLC reader extraordinaire and Leaky Lounge moderator Darcey, so I personally will be reserving a first-row seat at her session, which is on using Potter in the classroom. Other already-accepted presentations include discussions on Snape’s appeal and predictions for book seven.)
Also, today the chair of the convention’s formal programming, Catherine Tosenberger, will be on NPR’s “Recess,” hosted by special guest John Cech. Check local listings for times.
